I’m very appreciate the movie-“Yip Man” which I have seen on 2008. Its 3 years before on Chinese New Year. The movie Yip Man is based in martial art and some Chinese history in 18th century. This is an action movie, the main character is Donnie Yen(Yip Man). He’s the person to show martial art’s power to the Japanese people. I love every part of this movie and I recommended to everyone.
The movie it happened in 18th century Foshan, China. Yip Man
lived with his wife and his son. Yip Man good at Wing Tsun Martial-Art and he
is famous in Foshan, China, so sometimes people will go and learn from him. One
day Japanese general came and he bring a lot of soldier to Foshan, after that
Foshan gave Japanese people to occupied. It have many people are died with no
food. The Japanese general knew Foshan are famous in martial art and he set up
a fight game, let Chinese people know Japanese is the best. One day Yip Man’s
friend goes and fight but he was died. When Yip Man knew his friend was died,
he went there and fights. He used Wing Tsun Martial-Art to beat all the
opponents and he won. Yip Man used his hand to arouse the solidarity heart of
the Chinese people.
This movie’s main star is Donnie Yen(Yip Man). Yip Man is the real
person in the world, he was born in 1950 and he good at Wing Tsun Martial-Art
as well. This movie it very good to see because in 18th century.
Japanese people it hurt many of people in China, but it helps Chinese people
learn to unite and alive.
Donnie Yen(Yip Man) is a convincing actor because people loves to see
how he fight the Japanese people and let Chinese people be happy. People gave
some comment to this movie “Japan didn’t rule with a deadly fist in china, they
raped, pillaged and enslaved.basic imperialism with a psychopathic twist. Lets
all be happy we live in the 21st century” This movie is quite interesting
because you can see many different types martial art and some part was fun. I
strongly recommend to everyone see it and they can learn some history by this
movie.
